Dhanush and remakes go together. He is now all set to translate the magic of the Telugu blockbuster Ready, (starring Ram and Genelia) as Uthama Puthiran. This is the first time Genelia will share screen space with Dhanush. Uthama Puthiran has reportedly completed its shooting schedules and dubbing works are in progress.Directed by Dhanush’s favourite director Mithran Jawahar, this big budget film is produced by Balaji Studios Pvt. Ltd. Bhagyaraj, Vivek and Karunas play prominent roles.Ready is the story of Chandu, a final year engineering student. One of his friends falls in love with a girl, whose father arranges her marriage with some other person. So his friends kidnap the bride from the marriage hall to arrange their marriage. However, Chandu's gang mistakenly rushes into another marriage hall and kidnaps Pooja, who is the wrong girl! Later, Chandu falls in love with Pooja. What happens next makes up the rest of the film.
